Ok, in case you should want to send a photo FROM your iPhone, and have it show up as an MMS on another type of phone (you mean you know people who don't use an iPhone) just send an email as usual, and use these prefixes -
Alltel = xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com
AT&T = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.att.net
Boost Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@myboostmobile.com
Einstein PCS = xxxxxxxxxx@einsteinmms.com
Sprint = xxxxxxxxxx@pm.sprint.com
T-Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@tmomail.net
US Cellular = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.uscc.net
Verizon Wireless = xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com
Virgin Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@vmobl.com
Simple as pie!
Ok now I went from Treo, to Blackberry to iPhone. I suppose it IS possible that in my little mind I was a bit confused. Maybe. I mean, it is possible. But late late night, I'm getting ready to go to bed, but naturally, decided to check a few of my favorite RSS feeds first. To my shock, what did I find? I found photos of the new Blackberry Storm device. Cool, right?
Clearly I was already half asleep, because the photos of the new Storm looked, well, more than a little bit like the iPhone. I mean, the screens looked exactly like the iPhone. As a matter of fact, I could swear I saw those images somewhere before. Turns out I was correct.
The images of the new Blackberry Storm were a cross of existing photos of an iPhone superimposed on the new Blackberry device! No WAY! YES way! Is this some kind of joke or was somebody at RIM looking to make a statement? Either way this is pretty darn funny stuff!
As you can imagine, we're pretty excited this time of year. We have the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show, just around the corner, and we have Macworld 2009 the same week! It is a time of year that we get to see lots and lots of goodies, and not to worry! We will be live-blogging right here, including photos, audio and some video too. If you can stand to wait, and would prefer to read about what we see, articles will be posted here in a much more coherent manner.
If you have any vendors, products or services you want us to keep a special eye out for, just drop us a note and we'll do what we can to see it for you!
