we have a product called zhiing. It is similar to loopt in that it will map your location and allow you to send it to a friend. The difference is that it works on all phones and does not require a social network - so you can use it to talk to all of your friends.
The best experience is on an iPhone or Blackberry with GPS, but it works for everyone.
