Verizon Iphone

OK so how many of you want the Iphone on Verizon? How about it happens like this. Verizon Wireless, owns Vodaphone. Vodaphone is in Austrailia and is about to release the Iphone, and also they will be required to sell the Iphone there unlocked. With me so far? Good. Everything ok, everything approved by Apple and having nothing to do with AT&T. Now comes the fun part. What if Verizon then turns around and sells the Iphone, unlocked, with the Vodaphone SIMM in it, and they sell it in the US? What would prevent Verizon Wireless from using this channel to distribute a product here in the US that there is a demand for? Ok, so let's say Verizon Wireless doesn't do it, but then can an unlocked Iphone from Austrailia, with a Vodaphone SIMM card come and work in the US? Comments? Brokeit
